When I was expecting my first baby I spent a lot of time researching, wanting to learn how to become the mom I really wanted to be. Questions rolled around in my head, like “What are natural ways to nourish my baby’s skin and tummy?”, “What are clothe diapers all about anyway?”, and fun things like “What do I really need for my baby’s nursery?”. I now have three children of my own, and one on the way, and I have learned so much, but more than anything, confidence. This page is dedicated to “all things baby” and hopefully will inspire other moms, and moms to be, to see that life with a baby, and this journey called motherhood, is truly a beautiful life to live.
So much of my perspective is built on living a cottage-sized life, in small homes and a small budget. Learning to make the most of it, while having babies, has been a hard lesson, but yet so common! Let’s talk about creating a sweet, simple life with your little one, using time-tested wisdom, learning from mothers who’ve gone before, and a dash of country common sense.
